The visit to our farm includes a movie that tells the story of our chocolate and the story of Galita, a workshop in our Workshop Center (chocolate-related activities for children and adults), as well as a puzzle adventure at the end of the workshop, during which you will need to put together a code in order to win a prize.
The visit lasts about 1.5-2 hours and starts every single hour.
All workshops must be booked in advance on Galita’s website or by phone:
Degania: 04-6755608, Tzuba: 02-5347650
The ticket price is NIS 109.
Parents can purchase tickets for a discounted price of NIS 49 (subject to purchasing at least one ticket, or 2 parent tickets per family at most).
Parents can attend half a workshop in accordance with areas of interest, instead of a full workshop.
The activity is recommended from the age of 3. It is required to purchase tickets for children aged 3 and older.
Younger children can sit with their parents and throughout the parent activities. They will not get their own kits, but will be able to use their parents’ kits. If you would like to get kits for all your children, please purchase tickets for them, including those younger than 3 years old.
Discounted tickets can be purchased at the following clubs: Mifal HaPais, Hever, Teachers' Association, Kranot, Beyahad Bishvilha, Behatsdaa, Israel Electric Corporation, Yours, Shlishi Beshlaykes, Visa Cal, Rami Levy, Leumi Card, Israel Medical Association, Shavve Club, Partner, Israel Railways, Assuta, Yoter Club, Bezeq, Chamber of Commerce.
You can choose the workshop when you’ll visit us. The hostess will show you a few examples and will give you relevant information to make it easier to decide what you would like to do.
We offer 6 different workshops – each family member may choose to create something different and yet, you can all sit together around the same table.
Both the Galita factory in Degania and the chocolate farm in Tzuba are Kosher Mehadrin certified and supervised by the local rabbinate.
The chocolate farm in Degania operates a Kosher Mehadrin certified workshop center in August and during the holidays of Sukkot, Passover, Hanukkah and Purim. During the rest of the year, workshops are available only for groups of 30 people or more.
There is no need to arrive earlier than the time that you booked. At the beginning of your visit, the hostess will explain about our workshops and help you choose the one that interests you the most. The movie starts 15 minutes past the hour you booked, and the workshop starts 30 minutes past that hour.
